If you don’t yet have a referral, our doctor will issue one during your visit, and we’ll review the results together right away on a large monitor. Minutes later you’re standing in the open unit: the beam circles your head for several seconds and a 3D image of your jaws appears on a large monitor. In that same room the doctor shows root paths, sinus locations, or bone thickness for a planned implant and explains what these data mean for your treatment.
3D tomography lets us anticipate the course of the inferior alveolar nerve before removing an impacted wisdom tooth, check whether a lesion at a root tip qualifies for resection, and estimate how much bone needs rebuilding before augmentation.
A panoramic X-ray is useful for monitoring wisdom teeth, planning orthodontic appliances, and assessing overall bone condition, while periapical RVG lets us quickly evaluate a single tooth. Exams are brief and painless, with radiation comparable to a few hours of air travel, and when we’re done you receive a DICOM file or download link. If we’re managing your treatment comprehensively, there’s no need for an outside radiologist’s report—we analyze the images on site and prepare your plan immediately.
